Our Story
Fred's Beds and More is a warm and friendly family-owned furniture and mattress store located in the beautiful city of Mayville, WI. Jeff and Janine Andes are the husband/wife team that own and operate the store. Jeff’s dad, Ferdinand Andes (aka Fred), purchased and updated the Mayville “Guse” buildings in 2013. We chose the name in honor of Fred since he was the one who encouraged us to start selling mattresses and the inspiration behind us opening the store (plus he looked so cute as a caricature!) Fred passed away in 2018 and our store name and logo are a loving reminder of his guidance, encouragement, and strong work ethic.
Since 2015, we have grown from “By Appointment Only” selling strictly mattresses and futons, to regular weekly hours and selling many additional items including:

- log furniture
- Amish indoor and outdoor furniture
- Murphy cabinet beds
- lamps
- pillows and bedding
- artwork and home decor
We serve customers from Mayville, Hartford, Fond du Lac, Beaver Dam, West Bend, Menomonee Falls, Germantown, Slinger, Waupun, Grafton, Mequon and surrounding areas with everyday low prices and top notch customer service.
Our motto is ”If you’re not happy, we’re not happy!”. Every customer has unique desires and needs and we do all we can to deliver nothing but the best customer service. We truly enjoy getting to know our customers and helping them find just what they’re looking for.
